Aquatic Science Experiences

Nothing really changed after few weeks. One thing that I’m worried about the grasses are not growing anymore because when my partner dropped the bottle grasses are tilted to one side. Probably the roots are out of the dirt and can’t get that much water, but the dirt looks like it’s really wet so I don’t know what happened.

We are going to make a village by our own. We are going to save money by putting bleach company close to water and highway. We put every close together around middle so people can save the money and people can visit more places. We extended the highway to cover up traffic and its going to be easy to visit, even though we send money right now we’ll make more people to come so its pig picture.

My partner accidentally dropped bottom part of the bottle because it wasn’t taped perfectly. He had to put extra water and tape it again. Everything is going perfect grass is growing, water goes down noticeably. Long grass was about 10cm and little plants were about 3cm excluding roots. I can see that water cycle is going on in the bottle because water is going down, and I can definitely see water bubbles inside of the bottle where the grass is located at.

When I checked my bottle biome, I was surprised that it grew up so fast. I saw white stuff in dirt which was roots. There was a lot of roots growing. Water went down by a little bit because string in the water sucked up the water to keep dirt moist. There was some part that didn’t have any plant it’s probably because when we were spreading the seeds it didn’t reach there. I hope it grows really high so it can reach the top of the bottle.

Today we made bottle biome with two plastic bottle. We had to cut them and tape it together. Before we taped them we put water and dirty, seeds, and rocks. To keep dirt moist, we made a hole on the cap and put string that touches both of water and dirt. Also we might out fish in the water.

We are getting pretty much all kinds of fishes. We are getting Algae eater, Angel fish, Black molly, Red Tail shark, green marvel, neon tetra.

It’s going to be total about 12 fishes. Some of the fishes are community fishes so we had to get more than 1. Most likely we chose those fishes because they’re small, cute, and cheap. We researched if they’re community fishes or not so we can decided how many we should get.
